After reading the Sinful Serenade series by this author, I was sad to see leave those couples and their world behind. When I heard about the Dangerous Noise books I was excited to stay in this world. So far the books have exceeded my ebery expectation and this is one of my favorites to date.This is the 2nd book in the series. I absolutely love Kit. He is sweet, kind, and so inherently good, despite his reputation and being a bit broken. And Piper was innocent and sweet, but she too had her own demons to overcome. That is one of the things I love so much about these books. All of the characters have something in their past, holding them back, making them someone you can relate to. They make you want to cheer them on as you read while also leaving you blushing at times. This couple even more than some of the others. I loved the exchanges between these two, as well as the characters around them. I also love seeing some of my other favorite character come out to play.
While I have loved all of the couples, this couple is probably my favorite. I highly recommend this book. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down until I was done. It is a perfect combination of sweet & steamy. Looking forward to the next book.

I was a huge fan of the Sinful Serenade series, and this new series is just as good! So far I have read two of the Dangerous Noise series and they do not disappoint. Although you don't really see that much of the Sinful guys in this series, that's perfectly OK as we get to know and love the new guys just as much. By the end I was scrolling through my as fast as possible so I wouldn't miss anything. Highly recommended!
I liked how Kit & Piper's relationship grew from friends...they 'got' each other. This story touched on addiction to prescription drugs. Loved how the band members supported each other. Can't wait for Joel and Mal's stories
Crystal Kaswell has earned her spot on my "favorite authors" list. Who doesn't love a good rocker book, much less a great series about rockers?
She has intense character development, the reader connects with them immediately. I have yet to catch writing errors (IE the Hero stood up, and a few sentences later they did it again).
If you are looking for a new author to read, one click this one, you won't be disappointed.
Such a great story about a young woman who's had a crush on her brother's band mate... he meanwhile is fighting his own demons. The last thing that should be occupying Kits mind is his mate Ethans sister, but he can't get Piper out of his head, which could threaten the only family unit he has known... this was a wonderful continuation of the Dangerous Noise series, this is my honest review of a voluntarily read ARC that I loved so much I had to one click.
I've become a quick fan of the guys of Dangerous Noise (and a thing by Crystal Kaswell). At first I was afraid this would be similar to get book Tempting, but it was totally different. Piper is a fun, vivacious leading lady who is navigating the waters of adulthood. Kit is the mysterious rock star friend of her brothers. There are plenty of steamy moments, but still a decent storyline. The inclusion of Kit being a recovering addict, could have been cbeesy, but it was well addressed and honest about what a recovering addict really faces. I'm constantly enjoying that realistic element thrown I go each of Crystal's books - it makes them more relatable and believable.
Once again this wasn't one I loved as much as I did book 3. I think a lot of times the whole baby sister trope can irritate me. The fact that Kit was such a jerk at times, and I didn't think it was warranted, well that annoyed me. I'm glad I read the story, and I did still give it 4 stars, because Kaswell does a great job with these stories, even when you're not in love with the couple, you're still sucked into the story. Again I enjoyed getting to see the other characters interacting and coming into their own romances as they were unfolding. And I'm now very intrigued to read the final book as soon as I get my hands on it.
I'm in love with Kit & Piper's story! Piper is Ethan & Mal's baby sister, since the age of 16 she's been having a crush on the mysterious bassist of her brothers' band. Kit's on the road of recovery after suffering from addiction for the a very long time; he wants to stay away from Piper not wanting to screwed up the only good thing in his life, Dangerous Noise. But the more he gets to know her the less he can stop thinking about her and for Piper he's more than a silly school girl crush. Soon they realize that they're good for each other that they make each other better. Live truly can conquer anything!
